JEC (Jaipur Engineering College) was established in the year 2000 by All India Agrasen Technical Education & Research Foundation (AIATERF). After few years, in 2009, the 2nd engineering college “Jaipur Institute of Engineering and Technology (JIET)” of JEC Group got established. Both the colleges are now collectively known as JEC Group of Colleges. JEC Group of Colleges are affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) Kota, Rajasthan and approved by AICTE. Both the colleges are located in Kukas, Jaipur.
History
In 1999, AIATERF registered a society in Delhi under the Society Registration Act 1860 in order to promote the area of education. In the year 2000, JEC was set up on the peaceful outskirts of Jaipur city. Later on, Er Lalit K. Saraogi took a stand to start another engineering college (JIET) in 2009. Currently, more than 6000 alumni of JEC Group are working across the globe. Mr. L.C. Saraogi is the Chairman of JEC Group of Colleges.
