COURSE DESCRIPTION


B.A. Anthropology or Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology is an undergraduate Anthropology course. Anthropology covers the study of the evolution of man and also the socio-cultural development of humans. The course also covers the study of several branches of anthropology (Socio-cultural, Biological-Physical, Applied, Linguistic and Archaeological) that deals with various aspects of human developments. B.A. (Anthropology) is three years duration and the syllabus is divided into six semesters. The course is career orienting in nature that opens many jobs for them after its completion in various fields.


B.A. Anthropology Eligibility

  • Students after passing 10+2 in any stream from a recognized board are eligible for it.
  • The admissions are usually based on merit in the qualifying examination. In some of the colleges, the admissions are based on merit, interview or a written test.
