COURSE DESCRIPTION


B.E. Hons. Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering is an undergraduate Instrumentation Engineering course. The responsibilities of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineers will be with the design, construction and maintenance of instruments and entire instrumentation systems of any industrial undertaking. After completion of this course, students will have very high opportunity in almost all Automation industries, processing industries, chemical industries, bio-medical instrumentation , power plants, Fertilizers & Chemical industries, Petrochemical industries, Navigational & Aerospace Organization, Food Processing Industry, Weather Stations etc., Electronic and instrumentation engineering is associated with development as well as implementation of electronic and electric instruments for recording, measuring and monitoring physical phenomena. Subjects studied under this course are designing of analogue and digital electronic devices and micro-controllers programming etc.

Candidates who want to develop and apply mathematics, science and engineering skills to identify, formulate, and solve electrical/electronic/instrumentation engineering problems are good suit for it. Applicants who have the capability of using industry standard tools to analyze, design, develop and test computer-based systems containing instrumentation and software components also are good match for it. Applicants should have analytical skills, an eye for detail, sustained attention and the ability to work as part of a team. They should also have good communication and interpersonal skills.
