COURSE DESCRIPTION


B.Sc. (Hons.) Food and Nutrition or Bachelor of Science Honours in Food and Nutrition is an undergraduate Nutrition and Dietics course. Food Nutrition concerns with the field of Science and in this course main emphasis is given on food, nutrition, diet and their production, management, preservation, etc. Bachelor of Science Honours in Food Nutrition is generally three academic year course. It may be provided on part time basis by certain institutes. The syllabus for the course is divided into three parts and it is being offered by many colleges in the country. After completing the degree course they can go for further degree and also can join jobs as well.


B.Sc. (Hons.) Food and Nutrition Eligibility

  • The candidates should complete their 10+2 or its equivalent exam in Science stream.
  • The marks of admission for this course may vary from college to college.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Food and Nutrition Course Suitability

  • Students those who interested or desirous in food nutrition and can plan and organise time and have interest in researching and gathering information are most suitable for this course.
  • Those who are willing to go for teaching fields at higher degree level also can go for it.
