B.Sc. (Hons.) Geography or Bachelor of Science Honours in Geography is an undergraduate Geography course. Geography is the science that studies the lands, features, inhabitants, and phenomena of Earth. A literal translation would be "to describe or write about the Earth". B.Sc. (Hons.) Geography is generally three academic year course and it may be provided on part time basis by certain institutes. The syllabus for the degree course is also divided into three years and it is career orienting in nature that offers a lot job scopes for the candidates after its successful completion.

• The candidates should complete their 10+2 or its equivalent exam in Science stream with Geography as one the subjects.
• The marks of admission for this course may vary from college to college and at many places it conducts entrance exams plus interview for the admission of students and percentage of 12^th class is also being given credit.

• Candidates should have perceptive and probing mind, keen observation, analytical and logical thinking and computer skills are essential qualification in the field of geography.
