COURSE DESCRIPTION


B.Tech. Automobile Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Automobile Engineering is an undergraduate Automobile Engineering course. Automobile engineering is a branch of vehicle engineering, incorporating elements of mechanical, electrical, electronic, software and safety engineering as applied to the design, manufacture and operation of motorcycles, automobiles, buses and trucks and their respective engineering. Some of the engineering attributes or disciplines that are of importance to the automotive engineer: Safety Engineering, Safety Engineering, Vehicle Dynamics, NVH Engineering (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness), Performance, Shift Quality, Durability/Corrosion engineering, Package/Ergonomics Engineering, Climate Control, Drivability, Cost, Program timing and Assembly Feasibility. The duration of this engineering course is four years.


B.Tech. Automobile Engineering Eligibility

  • Candidates should have passed their higher secondary exam with science (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) as their subject, securing a minimum of 50% in aggregate.

B.Tech. Automobile Engineering Course Suitability

  • Those who have good and technical mind and want to become an automobile engineering of specific discipline can go for this degree course.
  • Those who are thinking of becoming lecturer or professor first they will have to have Bachelor degree and then Masters’. After having passed they can have job in many engineering colleges and universities throughout the country.
  • They should possess excellent communication skills; computer skills; good analytical and problem-solving skills; and have an eye for detail.
  • They should also have organizing ability, logical thinking, practicality, ability to deal with people diplomatically, patience, creativity, flexibility to understand and apply new technologies are added skills in this field.
