COURSE DESCRIPTION

Diploma in Information Technology is a Diploma level Information Technology course. Information Technology is the acquisition, processing, storage and dissemination of vocal, pictorial, textual and numerical information by a microelectronics-based combination of computing and telecommunications. In India various institute provide this course but its duration (regarding this course duration is one year) is not same which differs place to place. Regarding minimum time to complete the diploma is also not same. This diploma course may also be offered by some certain institutes on part time basis and its syllabus is divided into three semesters.

Diploma in Information Technology Eligibility

• The test is open to candidates who have passed the Matriculation or equivalent examination in Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and English.
• It is also provided that a candidate who has appeared for the qualifying examination but whose result has not been declared shall be admitted provisionally to the Joint Entrance Test but his/her candidature shall be cancelled if he/she fails to qualify in the qualifying examination or fails to produce the proof of his/her having qualified at the time of counseling. Such candidates will have no claim, whatsoever, with regard to the admission to any course.
