Diploma in Tourism Studies is 12^th level Travel and Tourism course. In this diploma course, main emphasis is given on tourism aspects which provide learners with the facility to specialise in the chosen operational areas in tourism studies and helps them acquire associated skills. This 36-credit programme has three compulsory core courses, one elective course, and a project related to the elective course. The minimum time to complete the course is one year and the maximum time is four years. Diploma in Tourism Studies also may be offered by some certain institute on par time basis. The Diploma course is very valuable and important in today’s time the tourism.
