The program allows students to build the necessary background and techniques in pure or applied areas. It develops extensive subject expertise and independent research talent in the student.
Student would undertake a substantial, original research project for the duration of the degree, under the supervision and guidance of academic member of staff.
Supervisory team provides guidance both in the selection of a research topic and in the conduct of the research.During the course of the degree, student would be given opportunities to present their work at major conferences and in refereed research publications.
