COURSE DESCRIPTION

M.A. Fashion Design or Master of Arts in Fashion Design is a postgraduate Fashion Designing course. Fashion design is the art of the application of design and aesthetics or natural beauty to clothing and accessories. Fashion design is influenced by cultural and social latitudes, and has varied over time and place. The course will enable you to apply advanced theory and practice to your chosen specialisations. As a student, you'll explore original conceptual design principles and methodologies in response to global fashion needs. This will enable students to create, develop and manage their portfolio and present a finished product, collection or prototypes which demonstrate research and technical design prowess.

M.A. Fashion Design Eligibility

  • B.A. or any other equivalent qualification with minimum 50% marks
  • Some of the reputed universities and colleges conduct entrance examination for admission.
