COURSE DESCRIPTION

M.B.A. Agri-business or Master of Business Administration in Agricultural Business is a postgraduate Agricultural Management course. Agri-business means the term for the various businesses involved in food production, including farming and contract farming, seed supply, agrichemicals, farm machinery, wholesale and distribution, processing, marketing, and retail sales. The duration of M.B.A. in Agricultur Business is two years and its syllabus is divided into four semesters plus some Electives. The course is career orienting in nature that provides many job after its successful completion.

M.B.A. Agri-business Eligibility

  • Candidates who have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate at the B.Sc. (Ag.) and allied disciplines or B.Sc. Home Science/Life Science background: Botany, Zoology, Bio-Chemistry, Bio-Technology under 10+2+3 Scheme or A Post Graduate in the above disciplines.
  • For SC/ST candidates only pass mark is required.

M.B.A. Agri-business Course Suitability

  • Students who have innovative mind of improving agriculture which may lead to ‘Food Security’ in India are the best suit for this course.
  • Candidates who want to become scientist and willing to bring another “Green Revolution” in India also most suitable for it.
  • Those who have interest in agricultural activities are good match for it as it will enhance their knowledge regarding agriculture.

  5. Technical monitoring and Tie-up for working capital limit
