M.B.A. Banking & Insurance or Master of Business Administration in Banking & Insurance is a postgraduate Banking course. The degree course is two years program and the course is the study of fundamentals and concepts in the banking and Insurance. The M.B.A. (Banking & Insurance) degree course covers the study of the basic concepts of management with specialised training in subjects such as International Banking and Insurance, Treasury Operations, Risk Management, Investment Banking, Project & Infrastructure, etc. The full two year degree course consists of four semesters in which the first two semesters are common to all the M.B.A. programs and the last two concentrate and focus on the specialised subjects and topics related to the fields of Banking & Insurance.

• A bachelor`s degree in any stream is the pre-requisite for pursuing an MBA degree in Banking & Insurance.
• Some reputed universities conduct a common entrance test (GMAT, CAT, XAT, MAT, SNAP, etc) for admission into its management courses but there are no different entrance tests for M.B.A. in Banking & Insurance.  
• The common entrance test includes different papers like General English, Problem Solving, Data Analysis and Interpretations, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and General Awareness.
