COURSE DESCRIPTION

M.P.T. Pediatrics or Master of Physiotherapy in Pediatrics is a postgraduate Physiotherapy course. Pediatric Physiotherapy is focused on development of the health of children in early detection of problems and treatments, especially with concerns such as body postures and main motor skills. Because the body of an adult and that of a kid or adolescent are different, physiotherapy takes into account the anatomical and physiological differences in treating conditions such as trauma injuries or muscular-skeletal problems. Problems covered in this field also include flat feet, gait problems, torticollis, hyper mobility, arthritis, or knee problems in the bone and joint field. Paediatric Physiotherapy also takes care of developmental disorders and brain and nervous system complications.

• Some reputed institutes conduct entrance examination for admission.

• Who have a wide knowledge of biomedical sciences allied to clinical skills but wish to extend their understanding of key areas can go for it. 
• They must have critical thinking such as using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. 
• Applicants should also possess the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. 
• They should have the ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
