The M Sc by research is aimed at students who intend to go on to pursue a research career, within or outside academia, in this interdisciplinary field. It is started with a view to cultivate research interest in Applied Biotechnology. This program will be a link to pursue Ph D degree in the broad areas of Biotechnology.
The main features of this program are: there will be two Semester teaching of courses and then in the remaining two Semesters the student will complete the allotted research project. Thus the entire programme offers flexibility enabling choice of interdisciplinary subjects. Students fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria for the M Sc course having aptitude for research will be preferred for admission.
