The Department of Chemistry offers a two-year masters program where the first two semesters will be devoted to classroom teaching of core courses and the remaining two semesters will be devoted to self- study courses and and a research project in the final semester. The curriculum has been designed keeping in view the idea that by the end of the course, students must have acquired a firm foundation in all the traditional branches of chemistry and a good exposure to modern reseach.
