M.Sc. Zoology or Master of Science in Zoology is a postgraduate Zoology course. Zoology is also common, occasionally also spelt (zoology), is the branch of biology which relates to the animal kingdom, including the structure, embryology, evolution, classification, habits, and distribution of all animals, both living and extinct. The duration of M.Sc. in Zoology is mostly of two academic years but it varies from institute to institute. The Guru Nanak Dev University, Amrtisar is providing in two years. The minimum time to complete the course is also two years. Course is available both in full time and part time basis. The syllabus for the course is divided into four semesters and it is career orienting in nature.
