COURSE DESCRIPTION


M.Tech. Metallurgical & Materials Engineering or Master of Technology in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering is a postgraduate Metallurgical Engineering course. Metallurgical Engineering is concerned with the development, production, and processing of ferrous, non-ferrous, and mineral materials. It is the basis for innovative products and new technological developments in the fields of industry, technology, and medicine. The course focuses on materials design, including general research to ascertain the structure of materials and to investigate opportunities for optimising known materials (e.g. steel, aluminum, magnesium, glass, ceramic, etc.).
