Ph.D. Hindi or Doctor of Philosophy in Hindi is a Doctorate Hindi language course. Hindi is the study of literature, linguistics and philosophy of the Hindi language. The students under this degree are required to prepare a detailed thesis on any of the topics within the Hindi language. Ph.D. in Hindi is the course where there is a thesis which the student should make it by own in his/her own language. The topic of the thesis is being selected by the student himself for the doctorate degree. After passing the course, candidates can go for further many job options in various fields.

Ph.D. Hindi Eligibility

• M.Phil. Degree and a Post-Graduate degree in a relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PH candidates) or an equivalent grade from a University or a recognised institution of higher training; 
  or 
  Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline with minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST/PH candidates) or an equivalent grade from a university or a recognised institution of higher learning and five years of teaching/industry/administration/professional experience at senior level.
• Some reputed colleges and institutes do conduct entrance examination to get admission to their Ph.D. (Hindi) degree course.
